These all options are Windows system default.

You need to install winzip in order to play with compress/uncompress facility. Though this utility is also available in Windows XP as build-in but I would recommend WInzip as more powerful tool.

This may help. To open registry editor, type "regedit" in your run prompt.Start->Run->type regedit .

This one is for adding dos prompt.Same is applicable for zip files. All you need to do is provide is winzip executable path.

Go to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell node in the registry (note that Folder includes drives and directories).

Create a new key (from the right-click menu), and call it "DOS prompt".

Under that new key, create a sub-key named "command".

Under that new key (i.e under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell\DOS prompt\command), edit the (Default) String value and give it the following value: "c:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe %1" (or whatever the path to cmd.exe is on your system).

Now, you can open a DOS window by right-clicking on any directory name in the Windows explorer.

Disclaimer : Playing with registry may be risky!:-)

Once the regular folder is created, you can right click, go to send to from the drop down, then hit compressed(zipped)folder.

Hope that helps.
