I used to have StyleXP Installed on my PC and I could change my logon screen no problem.

I have Windows XP Pro, and I just did a system re-installation. Like I deleted and reinstalled Windows XP.

Now I tried to install StyleXp again, it worked, but I can't change my logon screens. I can get up to where I hit apply logon, it works, but than i change users and I just get the classic login that says Username and Password.

Any help why it wont let me switch now? I have fast user switching and everything on too.

you may need the uxtheme patch in order for it to work just make sure that you get the one for the service pack that you have right now.

Edit: I have never used this program before, but in my experience with logon screens I have always had fast user switching turned off.

this program alters the system coding which can kill your xp install

i used it before and after i changed the logon screen and rebooted i got somthing saying

BOOT.INI can not be intalized.

your windows installation may be corrupted.

contact your administrator

my baby had to spend a WEEK at the shop.

dont use and no problems will happen
