IE9 (Internet Explorer 9) is lightning fast. It opens up and loads web pages faster than you can blink. The UI is very stylish and as functional as anyone could hope for. Plus the security upgrades to Windows 7 and IE9 makes the browser nearly impenetrable, unlike many of open-source browsers.
Has Microsoft created the best web browser ever?

"Has Microsoft created the best web browser ever"? I'm afraid NOT
Head-to-Head, Chrome, Firefox, IE9, Opera and Safari
For those that use it most likely think that it's fast after using IE6,7 and 8, On an official speed test it turns out to be in the 4th position. Here are the results
1. Chrome 9.8 seconds
2. Opera 11.9 seconds
3. Safari 13 seconds
4. IE9 13.5 seconds
5. Firefox 18.4 seconds
If you want to read about the test results here is the website to see it

I'll still use Firefox it's still the most secure browser to date Tell me one open source web browser or Operating system that's insecure and had as many Viruses, Malware Spyware and Worms sent through it, like IE and Windows has and prove it

Hi There,
Glad you are enjoying IE9 beta. It comes with a lot of great new features that are not available in previous versions of IE. Here are a few of the new features:
- An new streamlined look allowing users to get closer to the sites they visit
- The ability to pin sites to your taskbar allowing you to access your favorite sites without having to open IE first.
- Download Manager - a powerful new feature that keeps a running list of the files you download from the Internet and notifies you when a file could be malicious.
- Tear-off tabs - allows you to drag a tab out of Internet Explorer to open the tab's web page in a new window, and (if using Windows 7) Snap it for side-by-side viewing.
- Search directly from the address bar (this is one of my favorites!)
- HTML 5 support and full hardware acceleration
Cheers,

"and IE9 makes the browser nearly impenetrable, unlike many of open-source browsers. "
you make this statement like your some sort of security expert, yet while firefox's popularity grew and malware writers wrote exploits for it, there where still twice as many 0day exploits being written for every version of IE.
IE will always fail, which is the reason there are so many other browsers, because of M$'s past failure to provide a secure browser with proper css rendering.

Go to Control Panel, Programs, Turn Windows Features on or off

I think it's certainly the best version of IE ever, but right now it's in beta and still has some quirks. But yes, the potential is amazing.

Is this a joke? or do you work for Microsoft?
Sure they make improvements to their software regularly, but I've never herd anyone get so excited over it.
I still prefer chrome.
