I was disappointed by the .nri ISO file of Nero.
That was, I saved an active project thinking that those were actually my files being saved to hard disk but on opening the image file I cannot extract anything from it.
Yes,I said .nri file.
So how can I backup my files using Nero?

You need to go to cd or dvd and click on backup data in the Nero Start Smart. Then just simply drag and drop your folders onto the add area. Then burn. Should be as simple as that.

It's been a while since I've used Nero, but I think there is a 'image drive' you can select to 'burn' to instead of the CD/DVD writer. So basically you build the disk as if you would burn it, but select the image drive from your list of drives. Then 'burn' as normal and you end up with the image. It should pop-up a filename selection screen somewhere along the way.

Hope that helps!

Simply launch the program and select nero express from the drop-down list in the left hand side. Now select "back-up drive". Follow the on-screen instructions. Simple!
