This should do it.

Look, I don't know why you need to run the latest and greatest kdenlive but generally such packages are released to the distribution when the distro maintainers are satisfied that it will run with other programs. If it doesn't? Well my Gentoo is running Firefox 3.5.2. I just went to the softpedia and found the source code for the new one. Are you familiar with compiling? In theory it's simple: just go ./configure, make, (optionally make check), and sudo make install. You just need the build essential packages. And if you just go ahead and do it then you will sooner or later mess up your OS so bad you will have to reinstall (and possibly reinstall vista). In other words don't just.

If you are comfortable compiling, then Andilux is derived from Ubuntu which is derived from Debian. These instructions are an alternative. They are no more of a guarantee your program won't crash or crash the system though. In addition to build-essential you will need the fakeroot package:

"Dependacy isn't Satisfiable" potential that there is a lacking application or record that Limewire needs to have. you may seek for regardless of habit it lists in Synaptic kit supervisor. (placed in device -> administration -> Synaptic). Synaptic could even have the Adobe plugins you go with. Assuming you're utilising a Debian-based OS that's what curiously like. (there are over 3 hundred Linux distributions so be particular next time)

If you want to use your distro package manager you are kind of stuck with their approved software sources (NOT meaning source code here). You can search and see if anyone has packaged the software for your distro but that is hit or miss. You are most likely going to have to compile from source code. If you download the source files there will be instructions for compiling in the README file.

I suggest you try a real distribution of Linux and not one that works along with Windows.

That being said, have you tried updating your system packages. This is the only way to get the newest version of a package in Linux.

sudo apt-get update
