An ISO is basically the same thing as a DMG. They're both disc image files, except while an ISO is basically a snapshot DMG supports a lot of other options like compression, encryption, and stuff there's no point getting into here. A mac can mount an ISO file just like it can a DMG. But anyway.

If you use a program like toast (or any DVD burning program, really) it will just take the snapshot that is in the ISO and put it to the DVD. It doesn't care what the operating system or filesystem it live on is - it just copies byte for byte from the ISO to the disc.

Shorter answer - yes, if you just burn the ISO to disc it will work. Don't create a data disc and save the ISO file to it - that' won't work at all. You need to use the ISO as the source image in whatever burning program you're using.
