I have a lot of stuff in my bookmarks and need to move them to documents so they can be saved for future ref. I've been opening bookmarks, hi-liting individual files, then going to files and clicking on Save page as. I then go to documents and create folder to store what I'v X-fered from bookmarks. My question is; Is there an easier way to do this? Any answer would be appreciated however, I am not a techi. Thanks.

yes, you may store your favorites as a file but i only know how to do it using Internet Explorer. So if you have firefox, i suggest you export your favorites into Internet Explorer. Now using IE

1 - go to File

2 - Click Import/Export

3 - Since you wanted to save your bookmarks as a form of file, click Export

4 - then it'll ask where you want to save it

5 - then save it

6 - this will be in a form of .txt document if im not mistaken

you may access this file whenever you want to rescue your saved bookmarks.

hope this helps.

Click on BookMarks>Organize Bookmarks.

Once this wind opens click on File>Export. This will export your bookmarks as a file called bookmarks.html which you can store in your documents folder. Then simply open the file with Word and you can edit the bookmarks or save them as a document file.

yeah sure u culd save ur bookmarks..

just follow the path mentioned and backup ur bookmarks..

this is a sample path:

C:\Documents and Settings\yourUsername\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

there would be folders of profiles...

choose urs and u would find bookmarkbackup folder...

simply backup that folder...

it contains ur bookmarks in html format(open them to check)!

the easiest way is to open the bookmark in a separate window, then copy and paste the address back into your document
