I need to reinstall windows xp home edition cuz i currently have no operating system and i dont want to use linux. I have my product key for windows xp home edition i just need to where i can download and create my own restore cd

Sandy G is right, the important thing is that you have the product key.

The CD you can borrow from some one, as long as it is the same version. I mean XP Home or XP: Professional. Just install it with the borrowed cd and use your product key. It is not illegal as far as I know, to make a back up ot Windows XP Home CD. so why not burn on for your self.

basically get residing house windows 7. xp residing house version could require greater hassle to reinstall if u don't have journey with drivers. except of direction u have subsidized up ur drivers already. additionally u can get win xp residing house version from torrents and all that.

It's okay to borrow a disc from a system like yours. The key is what you really pay for.
