Question:
PDF to Word conversion?
2011-01-25 10:36:08 UTC
How would I convert a PDF document (that is OCRd and that is VERY clean) to Word but preserving formatting? I just dont believe that we do not have the technology to tell PDF and Word, okay, just make this document look the same in Word...what is the easiest way? I can do edits later, but I want to be able to convert it identically to Word and then make edits, i know about the editable PDF option, thats not the point, strictly PDF to Word and VERY CLEAN conversion...please help!

Thank you!

There is software out there that will convert PDF to text and even word but it is not perfect and saving the formatting is beyond its capability though.

Adobe Acrobat is the only program that I have seen that does a decent job of converting a PDF file to Word.

Some Optical Character Recognition programs do a decent job of converting a scanned image of the PDF file into Word format but you have to carefully read the results to correct errors.

There are a number of costly tools around the internet which could convert PDF to word.

There is, however, a better alternative: AnyBizSoft PDF to Word converter.

It preserves the original text content, images, layouts and hyperlinks after conversion, efficient and accurate. You can also batch convert up to 200 PDF files at a time.

Have a try and hope it helps:-)

Copy paste is your only option, and that leaves out formatting. This is the entire idea behind PDF files, they can't be messed with in any way. Good luck to you.

Are you abe to select text? If not then the document was converted as images. If you can select text then you should be able to copy/paste it in other documents.
