Can some1 recommend some free video cutter/splitter for rm/rmvb format?

Question

I know there are many video splitter for other fomats but I couldn't find any for rm/rmvb. I was trying to burn some rm/rmvb files onto DVD but failed to do so because those files contained an annoying AD that totally ruined the whole video. I just have 2 cut that stupid AD off my video! Could some1 recommend a free video splitter/cutter program for rm/rmvb format? THANKS!!!!

Im not familiar with the rm/rmvb format but you could always try converting file formats.
