If i save a document with the old version of Microsoft word, can i open it up again with the new version?

I have the old version at home..and the new version at school. I'm gonna have to print my paper at the library at school tomorrow, because my printer's acting up.

Yes. Word 2007 and 2010 both handle the .doc document format. They probably won't open when you double-click on it, but you'll be able to open them from within Word:



1. Press CTRL/O to bring up the Open dialog box.

2. Set the little list box over the Open and Cancel buttons to Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc).

3. Navigate to the document.

4. Select it and open it.



Note: The file will open in Compatibility Mode, in which some of the new Word features will be disabled (Equation Editor, for example). This should not be a major problem.

No, even while human beings yawn i do no longer. i like to play a interest with my acquaintances the place somebody will yawn and we observed who yawns first. I in no way oftentimes win till i'm unwell with a chilly because of the fact i'm getting so drained this is as though I stayed up an entire week with a wink of sleep.
