Looking for the best software to edit tracks, should include a wide range of effects, loops and bass drops, anyone know the best program that specializes in this ?

I really like Adobe Soundbooth, but Adobe is replacing it and I'm not quite sure about Audition, so you could look into that as well.
But, Adobe is replacing that with Adobe Audition: http://www.adobe.com/products/audition.html
Audition is $149 for Education and $399 for Commercial.
While you're at it, you may want to buy the rest of the Creative Suite as well (which is $2000, but includes ALL of it's great software).

The best software avaiable on the web for DJs and producers is defnitely Dr Drum. You can get it here for a really good price ( just 39 dollars instead of 400 )
